A Day of Rest
After Friday, a day of driving miles and miles, we decided to take some time off. I am doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms; Doug will pick up some groceries and do a walkabout at Dalhousie. I also hope to organize my stuff. We are halfway into the holiday and - right on target - this is when I start to lose things. Where’s my sock?; what happened to the toothpaste?I think I must have left my purse on that picnic table! It’s frustrating but makes returning home acceptable.
We bought the Saturday Globe and Mail and it cost $10!
was going thru pics of Prince Edward Island ,was there 3 yrs ago....love the Maritimes..hope you find the missing bits & bobs !
ReplyDeleteLucy, -finding most bits, only to lose different ones! Next week we go to PEI.- luv Maureen
DeleteEven on a holiday, we all need a rest. I looked at a map of Nova Scotia to find Digby and then realized you did a lot of driving. Like you we wondered about Economy and other odd place names. When we were on our way back from PEI to Halifax we stayed a night or two on the Bay of Fundy near Economy. Maybe it was named by John Kenneth Galbraith. (BMS)
ReplyDeleteAs good an explanation as any I can think of!🤣
